The mission of the Midland Heritage Project is the collection, preservation, and presentation of Midland's ethnic and cultural heritage. We do this by preserving the sites, records, and artifacts, of this "Steel Town" for the educational benefit of the public.
Come see how Midland has transformed itself from a steel town to a center of education. This planned community has now become an innovative leader in education. It is on the cutting edge of new methods and technology in teaching. The proof is the Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School in Midland. The school is also building the Lincoln Park School for the Performing Arts.
This small town has a rich history in steel, sports, education, and its fantastic Fourth of July celebration. Formerly located in the town's library, the new location offers the group much more space and resources to tell the history of Midland.
