EPILOGUE

In presenting this brochure it is possible that we may have fallen short of the goal which we have set for ourselves. Marshalling the facts and accurately describing them is our sincere endeavor.

However, history being what it is, contradictory and colored by those who record it and by those who use it or interpret it makes any effort to outline it faultlessly a risky undertaking. Inaccuracies and exaggerations may find their way into the text.

We are conscious of those dangers. The reader must also be conscious of the fact that all events were not recorded in the early stages of the history of our area and consequently the practice of deducing must be applied as the only choice left.

The citizens and residents of the Beaver Area to whom this pamphlet is directed can feel free to write to us for corrections or additions to the contents of this outline. We will be most thankful and appreciative.

The reader also should bear in mind that the propelling motive in our work is to perform, to accomplish and to present. To gather information, correlate it and to put all bits and pieces together like pebbles that fit in the precious mosaic that is our local history. Making that history comprehensible, is our task. Therefore any fear that errors may be committed, a fear that may develop into a deterrent to the above effort, must and will be overlooked.
