This delightfully early American house said to be the oldest building in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in continuous use as a law office, has existed on this site since 1850.
The original house is even older, for the office was added at a time not recorded. An engraving of the house and office appeared in the original Caldwell's Historic Atlas of Beaver County.
Samuel Beatty Wilson, grandfather of Atty. Sam B. Wilson, deceased, had an office in his home here in the late 1850's.
