This contest is open to any Beaver
County student
in grades 6 through 12.
(Students working on the Beaver School District's
web page are excluded)
The prize for the first correct answers is $20.00

This is a rather
difficult contest with several questions
which must be answered.

Background Information for
the Contest:
The death of a president
in Washington D.C. was the indirect cause of the loss of several
local lives when that president's death trains rolled through
Beaver County.
The Questions:
- 1. Who was the president?
- 2. How did he die?
- 3. How old was he when
he died?
- 4. Who was responsible
for his death?
- 5. Where in Beaver County
did the accident occur?
- 6. How many people died?
- 7. How many survived?
(excluding people on the train)
- 8. Briefly tell why these
people were in harms way?
- 9. Why was the president's
body being transported through the county?
