If you have not already been approached by certain 
people in your ward or borough asking you to vote 
a straight ticket next Tuesday, you will be. We ask 
you to inquire whether the people who talk politics 
to you are being paid for it. During the recent 
Primary Campaign the Craig machine dumped considerable
money into New Brighton. A list of those people 
and the amounts they received are printed below. 
Some of these recipients are officials of the borough. 
If their influence and work are purchasable at these 
figures, are they entitled to much attention from you 
as a voter seeking to get the best possible officials 
in the court house for the next four years? This is no 
attempt to sling mud. These names and amounts appear on 
the official expense account filed in the Clerk of Courts 
office in Beaver. You can see it for yourself. The names
