Tribune News Boys Christmas
CHRISTMAS DAY TO BE A CONTINUOUS ROUND
OF PLEASURE - TO BE A RED-LETTER DAY
THE DAILY TRIBUNE - DECEMBER 23,1907
Milestones Vol 14 No 4 Winter 1989

Tomorrow promises to be the grandest Christmas in the history of the Tribune news boys. A large number of amusements have been provided for the boys and the day will be a continual round of pleasure for them. The festivities will open with the grand dinner to be served them at the Grand Hotel at noon. The boys will meet at the Tribune office at 11:30 o'clock and march from the office to the hotel where the dinner will be served at 12 o'clock sharp. Each of the boys will be provided with a badge and it will be necessary to be at the Tribune office in order to get the badge as no badges will be given out until tomorrow morning and admittance cannot be gained to the dinner without the badge.

Proprietor Fourier of the Grand Hotel who has gained a warm spot in the hearts of the boys by his generosity will close the bar at the Grand Hotel all day tomorrow so that the surroundings will all be of the best.

" Noodles" Fagan the champion newsboy will march from the Tribune office to the Grand Hotel with the Tribune boys and will make a speech at the dinner.

Tickets for the polo game at the Coliseum will also be given to the boys tomorrow morning and "Noodles" Fagan has consented to address the boys between periods at the game.
