History: "Object"

The object of the club shall be to bring together women with a view of making them helpful of each other and to develop the education, civic and social interest of the community, but to be non-partisan as an organization.

Bought a seeing eye dog for a blind boy in Ambridge. Send donations to the flood in Italy. Sent quilts to Italy during the war. Gave many hours towards hospital and institutions. Work with the "Red Cross" stuffing envelopes. Honored the High School graduates by having a tea. Honored founders and Past Presidents at the 40th and 50th Anniversary banquets. Ambridge center for caring. Amberle Home for boys (McKeesport). Jubilee Kitchen, Pittsburgh. Mental Health. St. Anthony School for exceptional children. Fine arts granted to a local boy student to further his studies. Music award to outstanding student in the Ambridge High School for Band. Contributions to Federation of Woman's Club for scholarships. Honored the girls basketball team of Ambridge High, called Yale, Princeton. Sponsored Foster child from Italy. Helped sponsor Soap Box Derby in Ambridge. Gave donation toward Xmas Lights in Ambridge every year. Member of Chamber of Commerce. Gave Xmas gifts to patients at Dixmont Hospital. Donation toward a book on Italian Culture to Ambridge Library. Soap and paper products, canned goods to Ambridge Center for Caring.

Donation and canned goods to St. Vincent DePaul, Muscular Dystrophy. Helped a member during a fire that lost all her belongings. Sent fruit baskets and flowers to the sick and shut-ins. Put a book in the Ambridge Library honoring past presidents. Scholarship to outstanding graduate from Ambridge High School. Honor their parents to our dinner.
