Beaver Carriage
Milestones Vol 23 No 4 Winter 1998

The Beaver Carriage and Wagon Works was established about 14 years ago by D. G. Morgan, who sold out five years ago to Cunningham & Shaw. About a year ago the entire interests were bought by Mr. C. S. Cunningham, who has since been the sole proprietor. The works cover an acre and consist of a spacious threestory factory, fitted with the most modem machinery and divided into a large smith shop, wood working department, paint shop, store room and cosy office. Mr. Cunningham makes every description of light and heavy vehicles, a specialty being made of rubber tired carriages and spring wagons. A large business is also done in general repairing, which is done in the promptest and most satisfactory manner, and at most reasonable prices. Mr. Cunningham is young, a thorough mechanic and gives to every department his personal supervision.
