Freedom Public Library

In 1935, Ms. Gertrude Mohr started a Book Club in which each member contributed a book. There were sixty volumes in this club.

In 1939, the library as we know it today was organized with the Freedom Woman's Club serving as its first board members. The Freedom Borough Council provided the space where the present library is located.

The library is a member of the Beaver County Library Federation and has about 800 members. It serves Freedom, Conway, and New Sewickley citizens.
