By 1783 the 8th Pennsylvania had been disbanded and the garrisons at Fort Pitt and Fort McIntosh were composed of troops, mostly from the 8th but now listed as a Detachment of the Pennsylvania Line under Stephen Bayard. The rosters for February, March, and April are available.
